Beautiful Widget problems on phone.?

Q. I just bought a ZTE Blade II, and I decided to download Beautiful Widgets.
I downloaded it, but it say's I have to install a widget. I tried to install all the widgets on the list, but it doesn't work, and there isn't a beautiful widget logo next to anyone.

Does anyone know of a walkthrough or a youtube tutorial

A. to install a widget:
for pre android 4.0
Press and hold on a blank spot on the home screen, and choose widget. then choose your beautiful widget size once the list loads (be patient, could be a long list)

for android 4.0 and beyond:
upen the app drawer.
choose widgets at the top, scroll to the beautiful widgets, press and hold on the widget and drag to an open spot on your home screen.

you now have a beautiful widget. you can then change the look of the widget from the application in your app drawer.

Weather Settings In Beautiful Widgets?
Q. I'm using Beautiful Widgets for my Droid Charge. To depict the weather, Beautiful Widgets uses either AccuWeather or Google to find out where I am and what the weather is. I have it to refresh on wake, and updates every 30 minutes. Alternate Geodecoder is on, so is VZW, Standalone, and Google GPS location.

Which one gives me a faster, and accurate reading for the weather for the Beautiful Home Weather widget? Should I change any settings to make it more accurate?
Does it matter if either the VZW location services or Google location services are on or off?

A. I use Beautiful widgets on my Galaxy Ace and find the standard settings for AccuWeather and an hourly update setting are fine. Remember that the shorter you set the update frequency then the more data you use on 3G and if you don't have an inclusive data allowance then you will be charged for that data. Also keeping the GPS permenently on drains the battery much quicker. I find it gets my weather right without GPRS or VZW. But it's up to you
Remember that is is only a forecast and forecasts can be inaccurate anyway. i wouldn't worry to much, for an instant local update you need only look at the sky

Do you need internet access for android beautiful widget weather app?
Q. No luck on finding answer googling. So, on my laptop in order for me to get updates on weather on my side gadget, I would need internet access (internet down = no weather). So the android beautiful widget app where it shows the cool animated weather, do you need to have a internet data for this information to be seen? I'm getting on a new plan where I am only allowed a certain amount of data/month...so i don't want to be always on to get updates on weather.

Thank you!

A. Hi,

Yes the application needs internet for finding the informations.
But you can change the update setting and put it on "16h".

Have nice day,
